9.2 Managing Pages within Funnels & Websites

Within each Funnel or Website project, you organize and manage the individual components – the specific web pages (Website) or sequential steps (Funnel).

Accessing Pages/Steps:

Edit the desired Funnel or Website project from the list view. You'll see a list or visual representation of the pages/steps it contains.

Common Actions:

  • Adding New Page/Step: Click + Add New Page (for Websites) or + Add New Step (for Funnels).
    • Enter an internal Name for the page/step (e.g., "Home Valuation Form Page", "Thank You Page").
    • Enter the Path (the part of the URL after the domain, e.g., /home-valuation, /thank-you-for-your-request). Keep paths short, descriptive, and use hyphens instead of spaces.
    • Choose how to create it: Create from Blank (opens empty builder) or Import (allows copying the design from another existing page within your Close Master account - useful for maintaining consistency).
    • Click Create Page / Create Funnel Step.
  • Editing Page Content: Find the page/step in the list and click the Edit or Edit Page button (or sometimes a pencil icon or thumbnail preview). This will open the Page Builder (See 9.3) where you design the visual layout and add content.
  • Page/Step Settings (Gear Icon / ... Menu / Publishing Tab): Besides editing content, you can manage settings for individual pages/steps directly from the list view:
    • Rename the internal Name.
    • Edit the URL Path.
    • Access publishing options or other page-specific settings (like linking products - see below).
  • Reordering Funnel Steps: In the Funnel editor view, you can typically click and drag the funnel steps up or down in the list. This changes their sequence, which affects the default behavior of buttons set to "Go to Next Step".
  • Cloning Page/Step: Use the ... menu or a clone icon next to a page/step. Select Clone Funnel Step or Clone Page. This creates an identical copy within the same project or allows you to copy it to another project. Useful for creating variations of landing pages quickly.
  • Deleting Page/Step: Use the ... menu or a trash can icon next to the page/step. Select Delete. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Be absolutely sure before deleting, especially if other pages or external links point to this page's URL.
  • Products Tab (Only for Pages with Order Forms): If a specific page within your Funnel or Website contains an Order Form element (See 2.5), you'll need to link the products being sold. Select that page in the list view, then navigate to the Products tab associated with that page. Click + Add Product and select the product(s) defined in PaymentsProducts (See 14.2) that should be available for purchase on *this specific page's* order form. Set the price (default or override) and currency.
  • Publishing Status: Each page or funnel step usually has a Published or Unpublished status (often controlled by a toggle switch or status indicator in the list view, or within the builder). Unpublished pages are not live and cannot be accessed by visitors, even if the main project domain is live. Ensure pages are set to Published when ready.
