25.1 Integrations with External Lead Sources (Portal Leads - Setup by The Close Agency)

  • Concept: Close Master is designed to be your central lead hub. Even if a direct integration isn't listed in the Settings menu, The Close Agency administrators can typically configure your account to automatically capture leads coming from major third-party real estate portals (like Zillow Premier Agent, Realtor.com, Homes.com, etc.) or potentially other lead generation platforms or CRMs your agency uses.
  • How it Works (Admin Setup - You don't manage this): This is usually achieved behind the scenes using advanced methods:
    • Email Parsing: Lead notification emails from the portal (e.g., Zillow's "New Lead Alert") are forwarded to a unique Close Master email address. The system is programmed to "read" these emails, extract key lead details (Name, Email, Phone, Property Inquired About), and create/update a Contact record automatically.
    • Webhooks: The portal sends lead data directly to a specific Close Master Workflow URL in real-time.
    • Middleware (Zapier, etc.): An external tool connects the portal's API (if available) to Close Master.
  • Your Experience: You benefit from seamless lead capture without manual entry. Leads from these sources should appear automatically in your Contacts list, often with a specific Source Tag applied (e.g., Source: Zillow, Source: Realtor.com). They might also trigger specific Workflows tailored for portal lead follow-up.
  • Troubleshooting: If you believe leads from a connected external source are not flowing into Close Master correctly, contact The Close Agency support team. They manage these backend integrations and can investigate the parsing rules or webhook connections.
