The integrated dashboard usually provides a convenient interface to manage your installed plugins and themes without needing to log into the traditional /wp-admin
dashboard for basic tasks.
- Access: Navigate to
Sites
→WordPress
→ Select the Site → Go to thePlugins
orThemes
tabs. - Functionality: From these tabs, you can typically:
- View a list of all installed plugins/themes.
- See which are currently
Active
orInactive
. Activate
orDeactivate
plugins/themes.Update
plugins/themes that have available updates (manually or check auto-update status).- Potentially
Delete
unused plugins/themes. - (Maybe) Add New: Some interfaces might allow searching the WordPress repository and installing new plugins/themes directly, while others might require installation via
/wp-admin
or SFTP.
- Blocked Plugins: Note that managed WordPress hosting environments (including integrated ones) often disallow certain types of plugins that can conflict with the hosting infrastructure or cause performance/security issues. Common examples include certain caching plugins (as caching is often handled at the server level), some backup plugins (as backups are usually managed by the host), and plugins known to have security vulnerabilities. A list of disallowed plugins might be available in the hosting documentation.
