2.15 WhatsApp Messages (Inbound Leads)

Context:

Only applicable if your agency has integrated a WhatsApp Business API number with Close Master (See Chapter 22.16).

Purpose:

Capture leads who initiate contact with your agency via your official WhatsApp number.

Lead Capture Mechanism:

• New Message from Unknown Number: When your connected WhatsApp number receives a message from a phone number that does not already exist as a Contact in Close Master:
  • The system automatically creates a new Contact record, typically using the phone number as the initial identifier.
  • The incoming WhatsApp message appears in the Close Master Conversations inbox, ready for your team to respond (following WhatsApp's communication rules - see 8.4).
