16.3 Google Ads Reporting (If Running Ads)

Purpose:

Analyze performance data pulled directly from your connected Google Ads account, showing top-level ad metrics and potentially linking them to conversions tracked within Close Master (if conversion actions are set up - see 17.3).

Data Shown (Select Date Range):

  • Impressions: How many times your ads were shown.
  • Clicks: How many times your ads were clicked.
  • CTR (Click-Through Rate): Clicks ÷ Impressions.
  • Spend: Total amount spent on Google Ads during the period.
  • Avg. CPC (Average Cost Per Click): Spend ÷ Clicks.
  • Conversions: Number of conversion actions recorded *by Google Ads* (requires setting up conversion tracking, potentially sending events from Close Master workflows).
  • CPA (Cost Per Acquisition/Conversion): Spend ÷ Conversions.
  • Conversion Rate: Conversions ÷ Clicks.

Breakdowns:

You can typically view this data broken down by Google Ads Campaign and Ad Group, allowing you to see which campaigns/groups are driving clicks and conversions (as tracked by Google).

Requirements:

Active Google Ads integration in Close Master, correct tracking template applied in Google Ads, and potentially configured conversion actions sending data back to Google Ads from Workflows.
