14.9 Request Payment / Text2Pay Feature (Quick Collection)

Purpose:

Provides a very fast way to request and collect an online payment from a contact directly within a Conversation thread (SMS or Email).

How to Use:

1. Open the Conversation with the contact you need to bill.
2. Click the Request Payment icon (usually a $ dollar sign) located in the composer toolbar area (where you type messages).
3. A popup appears. Enter the Item Name (e.g., "Consultation Fee", "Application Fee") and the Price amount.
4. Choose the delivery method (SMS or Email).
5. Click Send.
6. The system sends a message containing a unique payment link to the contact via the selected channel. They click the link, see a simple payment page, enter their card details, and pay. The transaction is processed via your connected gateway.

Ideal for collecting small, ad-hoc fees quickly during a conversation without needing to generate a formal invoice.
