14.7 Payment Links & Coupons (Quick Payments for Services)

Offer simpler ways to collect payments online.

  • Payment Links (PaymentsPayment Links):
    • Purpose: Create simple, shareable checkout links for collecting payments without needing a full funnel page. Useful for one-off service fees, consultation charges, collecting application fees, etc.
    • Creating: Click + Create Link. Choose to link to one or more existing Products OR set a Custom Amount (One Time or Recurring). Customize the link Name, Description, button text, and appearance of the simple checkout page.
    • Share: Copy the generated URL and send it directly to the client via email, SMS, or chat.
    • Features: Often supports advanced options like Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL via Stripe), pre-filling customer info via URL parameters.
  • Coupons (PaymentsCoupons):
    • Purpose: Create discount codes that customers can apply during checkout on your Order Forms (not typically applicable to standard Invoices).
    • Creating: Click + Create Coupon. Define the Coupon Code (e.g., SAVE10, NEWAGENT25). Choose Type (Percentage Discount or Fixed Amount Discount). Enter the Value. Set optional Validity Dates (start/end), Usage Limits (total uses or per customer), and specify which Products the coupon applies to. Save.
    • Usage: Provide the coupon code to eligible customers. A coupon code field will appear on the Order Form checkout page where they can enter the code to receive the discount.
