13.2 Client Portal Dashboard & Navigation

Once a member logs into the Client Portal, they are typically presented with a user-friendly interface.

  • Dashboard (Default Landing Page - User View): This is often the main screen members see after logging in. It typically includes:
    • A Welcome Section: May display a personalized greeting (Welcome, {{member.first_name}}!).
    • Quick Access / Navigation Cards: Buttons or visual cards linking directly to the main sections (Apps) they have access to, such as "My Courses," "Community," "My Account," "Billing," etc. The layout and content of the dashboard might be customizable by an administrator (See 13.3).
  • Sidebar Navigation (User View): A persistent menu (usually on the left side) allows members to easily navigate between the different sections or "Apps" enabled within the portal. Common navigation items include:
    • Dashboard
    • Courses / Library (Shows courses they are enrolled in)
    • Community (Shows groups they are members of)
    • Affiliates (Visible only if they are an active affiliate partner - See Chapter 18)
    • Certificates (Shows earned certificates)
    • Settings / My Account (Manage profile, password, notifications, billing)
    • Documents (Might show documents shared with them or signed)
  • Mobile Experience: The Client Portal is designed to be responsive and functional when accessed through mobile web browsers. Additionally:
    • The Kollab by LeadConnector mobile app (separate download) is specifically designed to provide a native app experience focused primarily on accessing Memberships Courses and Communities content on the go. Users log in with the same Client Portal credentials.
    • The PWA (Progressive Web App) option (See 13.8), if enabled by the admin, allows users to "install" a shortcut to the Client Portal directly onto their phone's home screen from their mobile browser, offering an app-like experience without needing an app store download.
