1.5 Logging In & Accessing Your Account (Web Browser & Lead Connector App, 2FA)

Accessing your Close Master workspace is straightforward, whether you're at your desk or on the go. You'll typically use a web browser on your computer for full functionality and the Lead Connector mobile app for essential tasks when away from the office. For security, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is usually required.

Accessing via Web Browser (Recommended for Full Features & Configuration):

  1. Open your preferred internet browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge). Using an up-to-date version of Chrome is often recommended for best compatibility.
  2. Go to the specific Login URL (the web address) provided to you by The Close Agency for accessing Close Master. Bookmark this address for easy access in the future. It will likely be a custom URL specific to The Close Agency's setup.
  3. Enter your registered Email Address in the designated field. This is the email address associated with your user profile.
  4. Enter your Password in the password field. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive.
  5. Click the Sign In button. This initiates the login process.
  6. Complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) - The Second Layer of Security:
    • After correctly entering your email and password, you will likely be prompted for a second verification step to ensure it's really you. Look for a screen asking for a security code.
    • Click the button (often labeled Send Security Code) to have a code sent via Email or SMS Text Message. The method (email or SMS) depends on how your profile is configured or the options presented.
    • Check your email inbox (including spam/junk folders) or your mobile phone's text messages for a message containing a 6-digit code.
    • Enter the 6-digit code you received into the verification code field on the login screen. These codes are usually time-sensitive.
    • Click the Confirm or Verify button. You should now be logged into your Close Master dashboard.

Common Login Issues:

  • Forgot Password?: If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password?" or similar link available on the login page. This will typically trigger an email to your registered address with instructions or a link to reset your password.
  • First Time Login: If this is your very first time logging in, follow the instructions provided in the welcome email from The Close Agency. This usually includes a temporary password. You will be required to set a new, permanent password immediately upon your first successful login.
  • Persistent Issues: If you are repeatedly unable to log in despite trying to reset your password, contact The Close Agency support team for assistance. They can verify your registered login email address and assist with a manual password reset if necessary.

Accessing via Mobile App (Lead Connector - For On-the-Go Use):

  1. Download the official companion mobile app. Go to the Apple App Store (for iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (for Android devices) and search for Lead Connector. Install this specific app. (Do NOT download other similarly named apps unless specifically instructed by The Close Agency for features like Courses/Communities).
  2. Open the installed Lead Connector app on your mobile device.
  3. Log in using the exact same Email Address and Password that you use for the web browser version.
  4. Complete the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) step within the app as well. Request the code (via email/SMS) and enter it when prompted within the app interface.
  5. (If Applicable) Select Your Agency Account: If The Close Agency manages multiple locations or sub-accounts, you might be prompted to select your specific agency's workspace after logging in.
